About Us

E. B. Exotics is a licensed* reptile breeder located in Texas, USA. 

Founder, breeder, and mastermind Elisabeth Brown has always had a love for animals. From training horses to rescuing leopard geckos to managing a large retail pet store, Elisabeth has over 15 years of experience working with animals! (And has more than once ADHD'd her way through intense study sessions to learn how best to care for many critters). After years of working on the retail side of the pet industry she decided to get into breeding. 

With a passion for genetics, a love of caring for critters, and a desire to see improvements in conservation, E. B. Exotics was formed to preserve those passions in a more active way. 

In 2022 E. B. Exotics bred our first clutch of western hognose snakes in East TN, where we hatched a clutch of 9 beautiful little normals. Going forward, we will have many breeding projects with many different fascinating genetic lines to work with. Not only with hognose snakes, but we are also working on breeding projects with abronia gramineas and ambilobe panther chameleons. 

E. B. Exotics is now based in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area, where Elisabeth resides with her husband, Jonathan (the nerd behind this website), children, and many wonderful critters.

* Note: E. B. Exotics is licensed by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to capture, breed, and sell reptiles and amphibians listed in the 31 TAC §65.331(d), including the western hognose (heterodon nasicus), a snake species native to Texas. Permit number: NGD-0323-016. Abronia graminea, furcifer pardalis, and xenodon pulcher are not 31 TAC §65.331(d)-listed species, and as such no breeder licensure is required.
